Republicans

Why is it that middle class and lower class Republicans keep voting with Upper and Stratospheric Upper Class Republicans AGAINST themselves? Republicans vote down increased taxes for those who can easilty afford it making life more difficult for the middle and lower classes... Democrats understand this only benefits those who can afford ANYTHING but the vast majority of Republicans, who can barely or just barely get by, don't!
